Buy Your Silver On Ebay

If you are looking to buy Silver Bullion or Coins for investing or to simply cash in on the rising prices of silver you can find everything that you need right on ebay. Now not everyone has the money to buy Silver in large bulk orders from dealers. Especially if you are just starting out. When I discovered that silver could be a profitable investment I started out buying more as a hobby. Ebay offered me the opportunity to purchase only a few Silver Dollars or a large lot of Silver Coins without leaving my home. I would advise anyone looking to buy Silver Coins or Silver Bullion to look on ebay.

A few tips to remember.

  1. Search for specific things. For example, if you are looking for silver dollars search for Peace Dollars, or Walking Liberty Dollars.
  2. Whenever you search for a keyword, try misspelling that word several different ways. You will find a lot of items that are misspelled. These can offer some great deals since a lot of people won't search for them.(Ebay has apparently fixed this so now is you spell close to a word it still shows results for the assumed word)
  3. Do a little research on Silver coins. Search for Coins that are not heavily sought after by coin collectors.
  4. Learn the silver content in Silver Dollars, Half Dollars, Quarters and so on. This way if you know roughly what the silver value of each coin you can tell what the value is and if you are getting a good price or not. There are a lot of good sites on the internet that have this information.
  5. Don't pass up on buying some Silver because the price is slightly higher than the current spot price of silver. Just remember is you buy silver from a dealer they will more than likely make you pay about 10 to 15 percent over spot price(that's how they make money). Remember that you are buying silver under the assumption that the price will keep going up.

I hope that this article will help you find the best deals on Silver Bullion and Silver Coins on Ebay.

Yeah, you can land some great finds at ebay, but you have to be very careful that the dealer you're purchasing from is reputable. For every success story, I've come across countless others who have been swindled out of their money. Also, on ebay you have to watch out for hidden fees in shipping, etc.

If you want to purchase precious metals online, it's best to do so with a reputable dealer, like APMEX.com--http://hubpages.com/hub/precious_metals. There are plenty of honest dealers out there--just do a little research so you'll know them when you see them.
